Vintage Pens: Waterman 301-V
Vintage Pens: 1902 Waterman 301-V
One of the more popular color combos of the 1930s was grey and red. Sheaffer and Parker also had that combo. This Waterman 301-V was a handy "vest" pen in a handsome grey and red. There are even really dynamic ripples of layers within the grey. This is a rarer Canadian model. We restored it with a fresh ink sac. The 2a nib is made of 14k gold and writes a razor sharp extra-fine line with a little flex. The clip locks into the top of the flat cap with a hexagonal shape. No cracks, light wear, sharp imprints. 10.9cm capped.
