The Namiki "Vanishing Point" fountain pen has a retractable rhodium-plated 14k gold nib. The user clicks the end of the pen, like a ballpoint, to expose the nib. A hidden trap door helps keep the nib from drying out when not in use.

The barrel and cap are hand-turned celluloid. The clip is engraved with two swallows and the theme is carried over to the large velvet box and the box sleeve.
The fountain pen is a piston filler with an 18k gold nib. The set also includes a capped rollerball, a twist action ballpoint, and a mechanical pencil.
This set is new, in the original box with sleeve, un-inked, and with the ink bottle still in the wrapper.

The M620 Souverän include a crown cap top, double trim rings at the piston knob, a trim ring at the section, and double cap bands engraved “Pelikan Souverän Germany.”
This Grand Place (Brussels, Belgium) – 2006 completed the series with a reddish-brown and blue swirling design. The section and piston knob are a shade of reddish-brown resin and the furniture is gold-plated. Grip and knob are a beautiful copper. Two toned gold 18C-750 nib, size F. Features a one chick logo on the cap top.

juanotamayo@gmail.comVintage USSR Soviet-era luxury fountain pen and mechanical pencil set, brand Mockba (Moscow), low relief image of the Kremlin, original red case. This is the best pen set the USSR ever produced, a reward for members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (clips say CCCP), the Academy of Sciences and other leading Soviet figures. Caps are gold filled, with larger rubies at the top and smaller ones on the star atop the Kremlin image. Very little use. Both worked the last time I checked them, 20 years ago. As is.
