This iconic Delta has ver seen any ink. Beautiful and classic. The pen is like the famed Docle Vita. But in my opinion this one is more comfortable to use. Longer barrel and perfect grip section.

The lever filler works but you may need to replace the sac as it is likely ossified due to age.

Material:
The cone is inspired by the button of the mixing table at the famous Abbey Road studios, while the cap is inspired by the studio's microphone. The clip symbolises the iconic moustache of the Beatles on their portrait. The barrel and the cap are lacquered with several metal inlays. Finally, the limitation of 1969 refers to the year of the iconic Abbey Road album.

I have an antique 14k gold marked on barrel - Edward Todd fountain pen that I have had for years. I did get it restored/repaired years ago and have not inked it since I got it back. It is kept wrapped up and not used.

The characteristics are as follows: 14k Pat. 58001, nib is Edward Todd & Co. New York, # 3. It is in very good used condition.
