Vintage Pens: Parker Duofold (U.K.)
Vintage Pens: 5309 Parker Duofold (U.K.)
Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
When most people in the United States think of Parker Duofolds, they think of an entirely different pen. However, this vintage pen was made at a British Parker factory! From either the late 1940s are 1950s, this pen looks a little more like a Vacumatic and retains the button-filler of the original Duofolds of the 1920s. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. Our pen is in very good condition overall, though there is a small hairline crack in the lip of the cap. There's also some general wear from use. We actually tuned the nib after we photographed it, and it now writes a smooth, wet medium-broad line. Your computer screen might not quite capture its unusual color that is sorta brick red. 13.3cm capped.
