$149.99SOLD!Some pens call to us from the pile for a little extra-special treatment. That is exactly what happened with this 2nd generation Parker Duofold from 1945. More commonly referred to as a DuoVac, it has a fully restored Vacumatic filling system. And, as you can see from the photo, it still has great barrel clarity in spite of some ambering. Click the headline for a close-up of that and the harder-to-find 14k gold "Victory" nib. Celebrating victory in World War II, these nibs had large V's imprinted on them instead of the usual Parker and arrow imprints. You will write a very smooth fine line that still senses the paper beneath the tip. We wet-sanded this vintage pen to get that high-gloss shine. There are still a couple little pits and scratches in the celluloid, but it looks really sharp compared to most of its unrestored brethren. No cracks. Weak center of the imprint. 12.2cm capped.
