We polished this handsome Italian-made pen and didn't see any significant wear. We also gave it a brand new blue Schmidt P8126 refill, which you can find easily at any office supply store. Unscrew the blind cap in the tail of the pen to switch out refills. There is a tiny "M" imprint on the silver nose cone of the pen, in case that means anything to die-hard Omas collectors.
