The modern design of the Eversharp Skyline fountain pen was quite possibly one of the most popular pens of the early 1940s. Very dashing, it also was advertised as being ideal for aviators and business flyers because it has a breather tube inside the pen that was supposed to equalize the pressure inside the pen at altitude. It was a great gimmick that didn't quite work, but flying for personal travel was more of an aspirational thing in those days. At least you could write like an aviator. We restored this green vintage pen with a new breather tube and ink sac. It shows wear from use but no cracks, deep scratches or brassing. The top of the nib is scratched. However, you'll write a nice fine line with its 14k gold nib. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.3cm capped.
