Vintage Pens: Sheaffer Imperial Sovereign
Vintage Pens: 2633 Sheaffer Imperial Sovereign
Sheaffer Imperial pens were the last of the company's line from the golden era of fountain pens to survive into the modern era. This Sheaffer Imperial Sovereign was a particularly high-end model with a gold-filled diamond-cut design from the late 1970s. Ours is in pretty darn good condition with no dents or deep scratches. Its only flaws are a little brassing on the very top and bottom, along with a tiny bit on the edges of the clip. It writes with a delightfully smooth and juicy 1mm broad 14k gold nib. Not stubbiness, just a nice rounded nib. It comes with an original converter that is a little leaky but works. It can use modern Sheaffer converters or cartridges, too! 13.1cm capped.
