Vintage Pens: Conklin Endura
Vintage Pens: 3038 Conklin Endura
The one thing Conklin got way better than Parker and Sheaffer in the 1920s was color. Have you ever seen the amazing texture and color of one of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" paintings in real life? They are stunning, and the swirling blue of this junior size Conklin Endura looks almost identical! No paint remains in the accent rings on the cap and barrel. There are no cracks, either. Tiny, extremely shallow bite marks ring the tail. This vintage pen has been fully restored with a new ink sac. The clip and cap band have some brassing. Writing an extra-fine line, the original nib and feed have a little feedback. The barrel has a strong factory imprint. 11cm capped.
