Vintage Pens: Sheaffer PFM III
Vintage Pens: 3110 Sheaffer PFM III
Sorry, Ladies. Due to the overt sexism of the 1960s, this pen isn't for you. It is a Sheaffer Pen for Men III. Modern styling and an inlaid 14k gold nib make the Sheaffer PFM an iconic vintage pen. First released in 1959, these pens only had a short run into the early 1960s. It refills using the famed snorkel system. Our blue PFM III is in good working order. We got it from a collector who restores these pens. The PFM III is highlighted by the fact it has gold-plated trim and a 14k gold nib. This nib writes a delightfully smooth extra-fine line. The pen has some wear from use. Light scratches with a few deeper ones and a little pit on the section. No cracks or brassing. 13.5cm capped.
