Vintage Pens: Waterman 55
Vintage Pens: 3159 Waterman 55
Start the new year with a grail pen. We have a fully restored Waterman 55 fountain pen that will knock your socks off. This is one of the harder-to-find larger orange-hard-rubber ripple pens. It also comes with a slightly rarer size 5 manifold nib. A new ink sac is installed in the pen. You can see only a nick or two of blemishing on the vintage pen. The mid-barrel imprint is worn but legible, and the end-barrel imprint is clear–as is the 55 on the flat tail end. Minimal brassing, no cracks! An "18k Filled" imprint is visible on the pocket clip. Manifold means firm for writing on carbon paper. Thus, this lovely size 5 manifold nib of 14k gold has no flex. However, it does write a beautiful, wet medium line. 14cm capped.
