Vintage Pens: Parker Duofold Senior
Vintage Pens: 3364 Parker Duofold Senior
Parker Duofolds are the ultimate capstone to any vintage pen collection. For many, these were the pens that got them started on antique pens. Back in the 1920s, these were the most popular status symbol pens that were also extremely functional and hard working. A flashy tool in jade green, it was never the less the ultimate tool for writers and business people. Our senior sized Parker Duofold is fully restored with a new ink sac. It sports a rarer raised cap band. Unfortunately it has some obvious brassing, like the clip ball. No cracks mar the pen, even if it is somewhat discolored. It features a rare original "Christmas tree" inkfeed. Its large, original 14k gold "Lucky Curve" nib writes a smooth, firm medium line. Great for heavier handed writers, as the nib requires a little pressure to perform. Barrel imprint is strong but mentions nothing about "Duofold" or "Lucky Curve." 13.8cm capped.
