Vintage Pens: Waterman 452

Vintage Pens: 4013 Waterman 452
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: FLEXI
Price: $750.00
Hand-engraved sterling silver Waterman's fountain pens are true treasures, especially when paired with a FLEXI 14k gold nib that writes extra fine to about 1.25cm. Shading closer to semi-flex, this classic #2 nib isn't a wet noodle. Nevertheless, it is a smooth treat with which to write. We are selling this pen on behalf of the brilliant pen-repair tool designer Stuart Hawkinson, and he calls the engraving on the barrel and cap "floral vine." The sleeves of the cap and barrel are marked sterling and show no dents and minimal wear. There are no initials in the window left on the barrel. The pen is fully restored with a new ink sac. BUT WAIT, there's more! You get the matching pencil that still works, too! It comes loaded with a 1.1mm lead that entends but doesn't necessarily retract with the mechanism that does retract. Our favorite detail is that the pocket clips are also engraved! Pen measures 13.6cm capped.
