Ayrton Senna (3/21/60-5/1/94) won the Formula One World Drivers Championship in 1988, 1990 & 1991. He was regarded as One of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time. He died in an accident while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix in Italy. In his honor, there were 161 of these gold fountain pens produced, and you can own #008 of the collection. The nib is 18k gold medium. Never inked. The pen's body is crafted with tire tread marks down the base while the top cap has Senna’s Logo and a tire. Cartridge/converter filling system. Also, there is a very small ding in the base of the pen. The pen is still beautiful and looks amazing displayed in its case.
