Vintage Pens: 4529 Parker Vacumatic Junior
Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
We head back to 1936 for a jungle-green marbled Parker Vacumatic Junior fountain pen. It is a stunning writing instrument with good barrel clarity. In this situation, "Junior" meant standard size. It wasn't an undersized pen, but it wasn't a Maxima, either. This one is restored with a new diaphragm on its lock-down filler. Note the pocket clip on the cap is also the earlier feathered arrow from before the blue-diamond designs. Nice crisp imprint. Only a touch of brassing on the trim. Its 14k gold nib writes an Japanese extra-fine line with a some feedback. No cracks. Minimal wear from use. 12.1cm capped.
