In the battle for fountain pen supremacy, Parker had the last great filling system innovation that allowed for a mess-free filling experience. Sheaffer Snorkels were the most overengineered pens in history to become completely mess-free fillers. Parker 61 fountain pens were the most simple mess-free fillers. The Teflon-coated capillary filler only required a simple dip. This vintage pen is a beautiful first-edition Parker 61 with a rare and beautiful gold-and-silver-colored "Rainbow" cap! It even has a torn original price sticker. You will write a smooth Japanese extra-fine line with its 14k gold nib. The barrel looks great. Click the headline to see the one glaring problem. There is a bump and crack in the section. If you look closely, the crack appears to be filled in with either clear nail polish or epoxy. As always, nobody's perfect. 14cm capped.
