Few authors are as popular in October as Edgar Allan Poe. One German luxury pen maker paid tribute to his macabre genius with the Montblanc Edgar Allan Poe Writers’ Series fountain pen. This was originally released in 1998. Now before you get too excited, our Montblanc Edgar Allan Poe has a crack in the section and threads. It will leak all over you. That is why it is a bargain. The piston moves smoothly. The nib is good. The pen is all original. The only problem is that nasty crack. You can likely send it back to Montblanc for repair, but they will charge several hundred dollars, at the least. Fully restored, these are worth a fair amount of money. We figured we would sell it for a discount at let you deal with the folks at MB and reap the rewards later.
