French writer and philosopher Marcel Proust gets the royal treatment with his namesake pen: the Montblanc Marcel Proust Writers Series ballpoint. This is the 1999 edition of the Writers Series line. Its sterling silver barrel is hexagonal and beautifully engraved. Proust’s signature is on the top panel with the clip. The clip sports the older, classic Montblanc logo. This pen is numbered 15,855 of 20,000. It comes with its original boxes and booklet, which isn’t featured in the photo. The pen is in near mint to mint condition. We don’t see any dents or scratches.
