Pre-Owned Pens: Otto Hutt Design 01

Many can make a valid argument for Germany being the biggest producer of luxury fountain pens in the modern era. One of the lesser known of those brands is Otto Hutt. This is apparently oddly named as the Otto Hutt Design 01. The bulk of the cap is sterling silver, but the clip, topper and tail-end cap don’t appear to be actual silver. Its brass barrel is lacquered a beautiful black. Overall, the pen has light wear from use, but there is a dent in the engraving plate space of the silver cap. There is also dent under the clip, which is a little loose. You will write a smooth fine line with the Otto Hutt Design 01 steel nib. Yes, the nib is marked “M” for medium, but it definitely looks like a fine to us. A standard international converter is included. 13.5cm capped.
