The sleek jet-black cap and barrel are beautifully streamlined in a torpedo shape and accented with gold-plated trim. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. No cracks or deep scratches mar this classic writing instrument. No brassing, either. Check out its nice, crisp imprint. Our O/S Sheaffer Balance Lifetime comes with a less common two-toned 14k gold nib. Have no doubts about it, this also is an rare “Accountant’s Nib.” Writes an extra dry, extra-extra fine line that is pretty damned scratchy.
