Vintage Pens: Sheaffer Imperial

Carmen Bixby must have done something special to get this gold-plated Sheaffer Imperial. This is particularly special with the “Lifetime” written on the pocket clip. Our vintage pen is in really good shape. No brassing, no dents, no deep scratches. There are two small imprints/dimples. Obviously, “Carmen Bixby” is engraved in the cartouche. The black plastic section shows more wear. We installed a new, original-type converter. This also takes Sheaffer ink cartridges. You will write a nice extra-fine to fine line. This Sheaffer Imperial nib has a hint of give, if you are slow and gentle. The cap doesn’t snap, any more, but it is still a good closure. 13.7cm capped.
