6383 Parker Duofold Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$199.99The rebirth of the Parker Duofold in the late 1980s as a modern pen with a vintage look was absolute genius on the part of Parker. We especially love that they adapted the vintage pencil look for the modern ballpoint pen. Many colors have been made for the newest Duofold line in the past 35 years. However, one of the rarer, and more collectible, colors is this jade green. Only made for a short while, it wasn't very popular with customers at the time. Now, however, it is a special treat for modern Duofold collectors. Our preowned pen show a little wear from use. There is a 1mm hairline crack in celluloid near the pocket clip and a tiny chip missing not far from it where the celluloid meets the metal topper. The twist mechanism works smoothly. We just installed a new blue-gel refill. 13.1cm capped.

6294 Wahl-Eversharp CA (Skyline) Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1940-1949Price:
$99.99SOLD!History forever remembers the winners, but sometimes the losers have the more compelling story. That seems to be the case for the Eversharp Skyline and the Eversharp CA. The Skyline was Wahl-Eversharp's best-selling pen of all time. In an effort to be the first to bring ballpoint pens to market in the U.S., Eversharp CA pens looked just like the Skyline but featured the new and exciting technology of a ballpoint. "CA" represented the "Capillary Action" of the new ballpoint system. Unfortunately, Eversharp nearly went broke obtaining the rights to the first ballpoint refill and to get it to market in a mostly untested state. Once released, most of the pens failed to work as promised and Wahl-Eversharp lost their shirts on the lifetime warranty. This set is in good condition, though it has a little wear. The CA still has an original, nonfunctional, refill. The pencil still works well. A great curio for vintage pen collectors.
Pre-Owned Pens:
6323 Mont Blanc Alexandre Dumas Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1900-1909Price:
$499.99There's nothing like a little scandal to get a pen collector's heart aflutter. This ballpoint version of the Writer's Series Montblanc Alexandre Dumas has the wrong autograph! A mistake at the factory Alexandre's son's autograph on the pen. Given they had the same name, it was an honest mistake. Nevertheless, Montblanc recalled these pens to be replaced with the correct signature. This one, clearly, never got back into Montblanc's hands. It is in great shape, too, with only light wear from use. Twist the tail cap to extend or retract the ballpoint refill. Our refill works and writes a nice blue line. Pen is numbered 08664 of 16000. 13cm.

Another nice thing about these pens is that they take very easy-to-find Parker-style refills. No obscure German refills for this pen. 13.8cm
Pre-Owned Pens:
6343 Mont Blanc 100 Anniversary Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$399.99We love it when modern pens go for a vintage pen look. To celebrate the company's 100th anniversary, the Montblanc 100 Anniversary pens were designed to look like old-fashioned "safety" pens that were similar to the earliest Mont Blanc pens. This ballpoint pen saw a little use and has some light wear...minor scuffs and shallow scratches. Numbered 24398 of 45000, our preowned pen remains in excellent working order. You get a working blue ballpoint refill loaded in the pen. 12.8cm.
Pre-Owned Pens:
6320 Mont Blanc Starwalker Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$399.99Montblanc Starwalker pens really modernized the stale look of Montblanc in the early 2000s. These Rubberized Starwalkers were especially attractive and functional. The slate gray rubberized panels helped to grip the pen and contrasted nicely with the platinum plating. One of the downsides of these pens is that the rubber started getting sticky with time. The GREAT NEWS with this specific pen is that it is still dry and perfect for daily writing. Only light wear on the pen. We love the floating Mont Blanc logo in the tail cap that remains tightly affixed to the pen. Guaranteed authentic. Complete with working blue ballpoint refill. 13.9cm.
Pre-Owned Pens:
6319 Mont Blanc Hemingway Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$599.99SOLD!In 1992, Montblanc created its famed Writer's Series line of pens. It started with the Montblanc Hemingway. As author Ernest Hemingway once wrote with a Montblanc, the company based its new line of pens off that one and dedicated it to "Papa." Some of his best books include "A Farewell to Arms," "The Sun Also Rises," "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and others. Our preowned pen is the ballpoint version, it comes with all of its original boxes and papers. The book box is a little banged up and its glue is starting to give a bit. Be careful opening it. The pen looks fantastic with minimal wear. The twist mechanism works smoothly, and the black refill still writes. From the collection of a very dedicated Montblanc aficionado. 13.2cm.
Pre-Owned Pens:
6199 Lamy Logo Duo Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$29.99Twist the tail cap on this Lamy Logo one way, and you get a working blue ballpoint pen refill to write with. Twist it the other way, and a .5mm lead pencil emerges! I'm not sure what the official name of this writing instrument is, but we're calling it the Lamy Logo Duo. Both sides work well. It shows a little wear from use. This also is the last of our West German Lamys for a little while. Twice as fun as the other Lamy Logos! 14.2cm.
