Pre-Owned Pens:
6111 Sheaffer Fashion Filling Mechanism:
RollerballEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$29.99In the 1980s, Sheaffer made a series of slender luxury pens to fit the times. This one is called the Sheaffer Fashion. We love its deep green with golden accents. It actually takes Cross rollerball refills, and we include one with your purchase. The cap and barrel have a brass construction underlying the green. It is a nice, durable writer. There is a little scratching on the nose cone of the pen. Otherwise it is in great shape. 13.7cm capped.

6429 Cross Townsend Filling Mechanism:
RollerballEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$75.00Never underestimate the joy of a Cross Townsend pen. We think these rollerball pens are vastly underrated. Green marble with gold-plated trim looks great. There is light wear on the trim but nothing especially egregious. The worst of the wear is on the nose-cone where the refill emerges. Somehow, some of it has been chewed away. Yes, the metal seems chewed away! Nevertheless, the brand-new refill seems stable for writing. Click the headline for a close-up. 15cm capped.

6433 Cross Townsend Filling Mechanism:
RollerballEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$349.99Write like an Egyptian. Que the Bangles' hit song. Limited editions are not exactly commonplace in the world of Cross pens. This Cross Townsend is particularly special because it sports a lapis lazuli finish made from the same lapis mines used by the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Our preowned luxury pen is in excellent condition. Under a bright light upon very close examination, you can find two scuffs to its finish. HOWEVER, you have to look really, really hard. Otherwise, they are very easy to miss. There is a tiny bit of the metal nose cone's edging that has been eaten away at the very tip, too. We installed a brand new blue Cross rollerball refill, which you can see still has its wax-seal ball. Click the headline for a close-up. 14.9cm capped.

$1,249.99Celebrate the holy city of Jerusalem with this stunning Omas Jerusalem 3000 rollerball pen. The city's walls and skyline are the centerpiece of the incredible sterling silver relief work spiraling up and down the cap and barrel. We polished this handsome Italian-made pen and didn't see any significant wear. We also gave it a brand new blue Schmidt P8126 refill, which you can find easily at any office supply store. Unscrew the blind cap in the tail of the pen to switch out refills. There is a tiny "M" imprint on the silver nose cone of the pen, in case that means anything to die-hard Omas collectors. The artistry and heft of the silver gives this preowned luxury pen additional gravitas. 14cm capped.

Vintage Pens:
6170 Lamy Safari Filling Mechanism:
RollerballEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$49.99Yeah. We get it. It feels weird to us, too. But, hear us out. Lamy Safari pens don't generally wind up being called vintage pens. We struggle with defining vintage all the time, as you'll know from our blog and magazine stories. Buuuut, this 2nd gen Charcoal colored rollerball pen was made in "W. Germany." There hasn't been a West or East Germany in roughly 35 years. And this pen was probably made before reunification. Sooo, it ain't exactly new. It is gently used, sports some shallow surface scuffs and scratches and in good working order. It has a dried vintage black refill marked W. Germany. However, we include a new refill, too. 13.8cm capped.

5853 Parker 100 Filling Mechanism:
RollerballEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$199.99 Was:
$225.00Building off the nostalgia for the Parker 51, the company launched what they hoped would be a more modern version of the pen in the Parker 100. This set included both the rollerball and ballpoint version of the pens in the original box. To be honest, it is quite possible they were never sold as a set in the box when they first came out, but that is how we found and are selling them. Each instrument looks great and works well. There's a little scuffing from the cap snapping to the section of the rollerball. Otherwise, they are still cosmetically beautiful. Each has its respective working, black refill.
