Fountain Pens with Nib Size: B

This pen doesn't work. Just want to put that out there before we tell you how wonderful it is. Aside from the fact this Sheaffer Imperial doesn't work, it is still a lovely gold-filled vintage pen. The problem is that it only takes the skinny Sheaffer cartridges that are no longer being made. It comes with a broken converter, and Sheaffer no longer has these sized converters. Otherwise the pen is nice. There's a little wear on the metal and plastic of the cap, section and barrel. No dents. The name "Miguel Castillo B" is engraved on the barrel. We've been lucky to get any number of these big boys into the shop lately. Here it is, the boss of the boardroom, the Montblanc 149. It is the world's most recognizable luxury pen. Our pen is in excellent condition, with a smooth working piston filler. Its only significant flaws are some scratches on the black dome with the logo. No cracks. Light wear from use, otherwise. We can send photos of the scratches, if you like. Our favorite part about this pen is its big, fat, smooth tri-tone 18k gold nib that writes a broad line. An excellent signature pen and daily writer for those who are bold writers. There is a serial number in the cap band, "Pix" under the clip and a threaded brass bit under the blind cap. 14.7cm capped.

Cherry-red veins swirl through the white pearlescent cap and barrel on this stunning Conklin Endura fountain pen. Our pre-owned pen is from the resurrected Conklin company...not the original from the 1800s through the 1940s. Trimmed in sterling silver plating, this pen is more than just attractive. Conklin broke their own mold by releasing the stunning Endura line of pens and pencils in the mid-1920s. Our Conklin Endura is an early variant, as it is made of orange hard rubber with a woodgrain design. There is some wear from us and brassing on the cap band and trim. Leboeuf invented the celluloid pen. Prior to this company from Springfield, Mass., pens were only made from hard rubber, metal or glass. Celluloid broadened the spectrum of colors and shapes pens could take. Our Leboeuf Unbreakable is actually quite breakable, but it also is an interesting piece of vintage pen history. We restored this pen with a new ink sac. This is a standard-size pen, not one of the hyper-expensive oversized pens. Unfortunately, the section has tons of scars and damage from past repairs.
