A true classic for any pen collector or writer, the Sheaffer Balance Lifetime is an unstoppable force of American manufacturing in the 1930s. Our oversized model is fully restored with a new ink sac. No cracks, no brassing, no deep scratches. Our pen only has light wear from use. With a crisp, clean imprint from 1940, this Parker Vacumatic Debutante looks stunning. We just restored it with a new diaphragm, and it is ready to rock your world. Emerald Pearl is the name of the color pattern, and it is such a vibrant green. The barrel is ambered, but you can still see through it. This vintage pen still has its aluminum speedline filler. To our way of thinking, the last great filling system innovation was the capillary filler on the Parker 61. Just dip the Teflon-coated tube--that is hidden under the barrel--in ink and it fills automatically. Released in the late 1950s, it was a brilliant idea. The only down side to it is that you can't change colors very quickly or easily. We did our best to flush out the black ink that was in the pen, but there likely will be some residual ink that will take a while to completely work its way out. We love the rainbow-cap design. This pen show some wear from use. The silvery arrow by the nib has more of a matte look, even after we polished it. You will write a nice extra-fine line with its 14k gold nib. 13.8cm capped.

Levenger teamed up with Sheaffer to make a new series of pens for the Connaisseur line. Each color of the line was named for one of the most famous seas on the planet. This is the Sheaffer Levenger Connaisseur Mediterranean. It is a handsome sapphire blue with gold-plated trim. Our preowned pen takes modern Sheaffer cartridges and short converters. Unfortunately, we haven't any for this pen. No cracks or serious problems. Only light wear from use. You will write a very nice extra-fine line with its 14k gold nib. Smoky blue makes for an elegantly dynamic barrel on our Pelikan Souveran M200 fountain pen. Aside from a little light wear from use, our preowned pen is in excellent condition. Its piston works smoothly, though it is a little reluctant to give up some stubborn green ink. You will write a very nice extra-fine line with its golden alloy nib--even though it is marked "F" for fine. As long as you don't write with any pressure, there is no feedback. If there was one pen that taught Americans how to write with a fountain pen, it was the Esterbrook J-model. Required by many high schools and professional schools in the 1950s, these vintage pens were attractive, easy to use, easy to customize and very affordable. We restored this J-model pen with a new ink sac. If you have a spare Esterbrook nib, these are easy to customize by simply unscrewing the old nib and screwing in a new one. Its steel 1555 Gregg was designed for practitioners of the Gregg Shorthand Method. Mostly stenographers, secretaries and journalists. You will find it is extra-fine with some feedback. No cracks or deep scratches. Staining to the barrel threads and the pocket clip isn't flush against the side of the cap. 12.7cm capped.

Bullet-shaped Eversharp Skyline pens were the darling of many writers of the 1940s. They looked like they were going 100 mph when just sitting on your desk. This burgundy model is a standard size that was well loved. It has a little brassing on the clip and lever, plus wear marks on the cap and barrel. No cracks. No deep scratches. Hunters of the Parker 51 are always on the quest for the elusive 1948 aerometric first-year pen in plum. Our pretty purple vintage pen is only the 2nd one we've featured in 17 years! It is in good working order after all this time. No cracks or deep scratches. There is a fair amount of light wear from use and one dimple on the back of the gold-filled cap. You will write a very nice extra-fine line with its 14k gold nib. Parker only made this color for about a year. That is why it is so sought after. 13.7cm capped.
