Pre-Owned Pens: 6320 Mont Blanc Starwalker
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $399.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6320: Mont Blanc: Starwalker
Montblanc Starwalker pens really modernized the stale look of Montblanc in the early 2000s. These Rubberized Starwalkers were especially attractive and functional. The slate gray rubberized panels helped to grip the pen and contrasted nicely with the platinum plating. One of the downsides of these pens is that the rubber started getting sticky with time. The GREAT NEWS with this specific pen is that it is still dry and perfect for daily writing. Only light wear on the pen. We love the floating Mont Blanc logo in the tail cap that remains tightly affixed to the pen. Guaranteed authentic. Complete with working blue ballpoint refill. 13.9cm.

Vintage Pens: 6300: Parker: 51
Hunters of the Parker 51 are always on the quest for the elusive 1948 aerometric first-year pen in plum. Our pretty purple vintage pen is only the 2nd one we've featured in 17 years! It is in good working order after all this time. No cracks or deep scratches. There is a fair amount of light wear from use and one dimple on the back of the gold-filled cap. You will write a very nice extra-fine line with its 14k gold nib. Parker only made this color for about a year. That is why it is so sought after. 13.7cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6432 Cross Townsend
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6432: Cross: Townsend
Cross Townsends have to be one of the most unfairly underrated luxury pens on the market today. Amazingly smooth and dependable--plus they have the classic look of a fountain pen. This Cross Townsend is especially special as a limited edition made with real jade. Although we do not have the original box and papers, it does not appear to have been inked. When we filled it with water to test it, the water was clean. Click the headline for close-ups. You will see its two-tone 18k gold nib is marked as a fine point. However, in case it is new old stock, we did not try writing with it. 15cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 6285 Waterman #3
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1940-1949   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $149.99
Vintage Pens: 6285: Waterman: #3
Bonjour, Waterman #3. We love it when we get French pens from the 1940s. This Waterman #3 is a post-World War II model that we don't think was officially released here in the U.S. We restored it with a new ink sac, and it is a very attractive example. No cracks nor deep scratches. Light wear at worst. You will write a firm, extra-fine line with its 18k gold nib. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.6cm capped.

Modern mechanical pencils don't get much cooler than the Rotring 600. All metal, modern design...this pen is in great condition. Minimal if any wear. It takes .7mm leads. There is a half-used eraser and spare leads under the tail clicker. 14.3cm
Vintage Pens: 6360 Wahl-Eversharp Skyline Command Performance

Vintage Pens: 6360: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline Command Performance
SOLID 14k GOLD! That is what an Eversharp Skyline Command Performance pen is made of. Not plating or fill. It is an all gold cap and barrel. We restored this incredible vintage pen with a new ink sac. The cap and barrel have a couple of very small impressions and the lip of the cap rubs against the barrel. Otherwise, there are minimal traces of damage. You will see a rather prominent series of engravings starting with the signature of James E. Gleason and a 75th birthday message. We looked him up, and Mr. Gleason was a mechanical engineer born in 1868 who invented a series of gear-cutting machines that were ultimately heavily used in manufacturing parts for cars and airplanes. Gleason would remain chairman of the board of his company until his passing at the age 95. Set includes the box and working 1.1mm pencil, also made of solid 14k gold. The pen's gold nib writes a smooth, fine line.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6357 Sheaffer Intrigue
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $149.99
SOLD!
Pre-Owned Pens: 6357: Sheaffer: Intrigue
In the early 2000s, Sheaffer Intrigue fountain pens offered one last clever twist on filling mechanisms. Instead of doing a boring old "twist the section to open the pen" for replacing a cartridge or refill the converter, the Sheaffer Intrigue has a special back quarter of the pen that unscrews to slide out a little carriage that holds either a cartridge or a modified converter. Behind that is a little blind cap that can activate the converter while it is still hidden in the barrel. This pen comes with one of those unique converters and its original box. Only light wear can be seen on the cap or barrel. You will write a smooth fine line with its inlaid 14k gold nib. However, the nib is marked M for medium. It just doesn't seem to write that way. 13.7cm capped.
Pencil: 6384 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Pencil
Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99
Pencil: 6384: Parker: Duofold
Among the less commonly found colors of the modern Parker Duofold line is this beautiful jade. Similar to vintage pens, it is nice tribute to the early Parker Duofolds of the 1920s and '30s. Our modern Parker Duofold pencil works well and sports a .5mm lead. You advance it with a twist of the tail cap. Our preowned luxury pencil does show a little wear from use, but there aren't any cracks or deep scratches. Under the golden blind cap of the tail is a used but still-fresh eraser and spare leads. 13.1cm.
