$599.99Conway Stewart scored a monster hit during the company's revival with the Conway Stewart Churchill fountain pen. This massive pen paying tribute to one of the United Kingdom's greatest leaders is a handsome writing instrument that is unforgettable. Ours is in a color pattern called "Quartz White." It comes with a box and working (nonoriginal) standard international converter. You will write a dry, extra fine line with its two-tone 18k gold nib. There is a little feedback, but not much. Click the headline for close-ups. The accents around the pen are solid sterling silver. 14.5cm capped.

$399.99We love the playful color palette of translucent flecks on the design of this limited edition Conway Stewart 100 Series pen. The company calls this color "Flecked Autumn." We would be more apt to call it spumoni or birthday cake. Complete with its original boxes and papers, it is in near-mint condition. It is a classic lever-filler, which we love as much as the colors. You will write a smooth fine-medium line with its 18k gold nib. Click the headline for close-ups. Numbered 13 of 500. 12.9cm capped.

$99.99Surviving World War II in England was no easy task, but this Conway Stewart No. 286 seemed to manage. We restored it with a new ink sac and manage to blacken the black hard rubber cap topper and section a little. They still show a little chocolate hazing, but we knocked it down a little. The trim is mostly brassed, showing little of the gold plating, but let's see how much gold-plating you retain during the blitz. ;) Click the headline for close ups. Be careful with the tab at the end of the lever as you lift it. The lever is very snug in the slot. Slowly and gently lift it up. The tab bends too easily to last forever. The 14k gold nib is a little wavy but it writes well. It flexes from fine to about 1mm. The vintage pen is 12.6cm capped.
