BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$29.99Twist the tail cap on this Lamy Logo one way, and you get a working blue ballpoint pen refill to write with. Twist it the other way, and a .5mm lead pencil emerges! I'm not sure what the official name of this writing instrument is, but we're calling it the Lamy Logo Duo. Both sides work well. It shows a little wear from use. This also is the last of our West German Lamys for a little while. Twice as fun as the other Lamy Logos! 14.2cm.

6194 Lamy Tipo Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$9.99Lamy Tipo pens are great all-purpose ballpoint for work and play. Ours is red with minimal wear and a strong clicker. The only problem is that it is dried out and we don't have any replacement M66 refills. But, how often do we have pens for under $10? 12.6cm.

6192 Lamy Logo Filling Mechanism:
BallpointEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$9.99Lamy Logo ballpoint pens are often overlooked, but they are great additions to any fan of post-modern design and a nice writing experience. Our pen was gently used, but it still looks pretty close to new. It has a nice, strong clicker. Its proprietary Lamy ballpoint refill writes a nice blue line. The fact it was made way back in "West Germany" is an added bonus. 13.5cm

6184 Lamy Charged Green Ink Cartridges Era:
1980-presentPrice:
$25.00We picked up an unused 5-pack of Lamy Charged Green ink in a collection. This ink was only made for a year. We think we remember that year as being 2016. You can see the cartridges are starting to dry out. Use it up quickly. Lamy cartridges are proprietary to Lamy pens only.

$49.99Another West German Lamy Safari ballpoint has arrived. It doesn't look 40ish years old. In fact, there are only light traces of wear. Even its West German-made refill still seems to be working. Click the headline for close-ups. It is interesting that it has that little beige band around the top. 13.8cm capped.

MPrice:
$99.99Yeah. We get it. It feels weird to us, too. But, hear us out. Lamy Safari pens don't generally wind up being called vintage pens. We struggle with defining vintage all the time, as you'll know from our blog and magazine stories. Buuuut, this Charcoal colored fountain pen was made in "W. Germany." There hasn't been a West or East Germany in roughly 35 years. And this pen was probably made before reunification. Sooo, it ain't exactly new. It is gently used, sports some shallow surface scuffs and scratches and in good working order. The section doesn't have the slots for the modern "red" Lamy converter. This comes with a Lamy "black" converter. Click the headline for a close-up of the nib and W. Germany imprint. You will write a smooth broad line. Cap closure isn't very strong. 13.8cm capped.
