$499.99SOLD!German author Herman Hesse is best known for his masterpiece novel "Siddhartha." An Italian pen maker pays tribute with the Omas Herman Hesse fountain pen. The sterling silver cap is scratch and dent free with a Hesse quote following a barber-pole ribbon down the cap: "Ohne schrift gibt es nicht den begriff der Menschheit." In English, this translates to: "Without writing there is no concept of humanity." The cornflower-blue barrel of the pen bares his name, and it has a working piston filler. We dipped its 18k gold nib and found it writes more of a smooth, dry, fine line than the "M" medium it is marked as. Numbered 0528 or 1877. Click the headline for close-ups. 14.7cm capped.

$999.99Blue-and-orange "Saffron" designs in the Omas Paragon never get old. We love the rich, almost granite-like quality of the celluloid's patterns. Our pre-owned luxury pen is in good working order with no cracks or deep scratches. Only a little wear from use. The piston is a little stiff but works well. You will find the 18k gold nib is marked medium and writes more of a drier fine line. We thinks it needs some breaking in from use. It sat unused for too long and needs a little TLC. A 1997 imprint is in the barrel, just behind the section. 14cm capped.

$149.99Given the total lack of ink staining any part of this Omas 630 Demo, we think it might be new old stock! No cracks. No deep scratches. Not much, if any, wear. We did not dip its golden alloy nib, as it might be a NOS pen. However, if you click the headline for close-ups, you will see it is marked "F" for fine. Slender. Light weight. $1,999.99As if bronze arco celluloid wasn't enough to get you excited, this is the grand poobah Omas Grand Paragon pen. Larger than a standard Paragon, ours measures 14.75cm long. The height of Italian luxury pen making, this is a stunner for any collector. It is tough to see at a glance, but there is some wear on this pen that is quite visible up close. No cracks, deep scratches, brassing or other serious flaws. Just lots of wear from daily use. We found it by luck, as it came in an Omas Milord box with a leather sleeve. This was obviously not a Milord the second we set eyes on it. Click the headline for a close-up. You will write a medium-broad line with its 18k gold nib. There's a little light feedback, too. Its piston still operates smoothly.
