$269.99We'd take a Cross Peerless 125 ballpoint pen any day over a Montblanc LeGrand ballpoint. Large for easier gripping, we love its 23k gold plate and metal construction. There's a Swarovski crystal in the cap jewel. Plus, it takes more affordable, easy-to-find ballpoint refills. This pen is almost perfect with only a couple small scratches. No dents. It comes with its original box and papers. It also has a snazzy acrylic block display. Also includes a working, black Cross refill. 14.5cm

1930-1939 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
SFPrice:
$999.99What makes the Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal fountain pen is it screw-in "Signature" nib system, which allowed customers to be certain they got the nib that was best for them. This lastest vintage pen, also known as a Decoband, comes with a 14k gold nib with an F marked on the inkfeed--indicating a fine point. However, when we dipped it, we found that with a little feedback it could write from an extra fine to just short of a millimeter. Fully restored with a new ink sac, this classic pen is ready for action. You can see some discoloration in the original black and pearl design. No cracks but some wear from use. Its matching pencil is in the same condition, working with a 1.1mm lead that is red! Pen measures 13.7cm capped.

$269.99Don't overlook the Cross Peerless 125 rollerball pen as a modern luxury pen. It is a large, rugged, handsome pen that writes as smoothly as any competitor. Marking 125 years since the original Cross Peerless appeared in 1889, this pen features a textured look that is 23k gold plated. A Swarovski crystal serves as the top jewel in the cap. This pen looks great except for a little wear. No dents nor deep scratches. Comes complete with its original box, papers and an acrylic "Cross" pen stand that is a little difficult to see in this image. 14.4cm capped.

$1,199.99Perfection in vintage pens is such an elusive target. This Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal gets awfully close. Its "Brazilian Green" or "Bronze Green" finish is stunning without much, if any, discoloration. There is no brassing on the oversized fountain pen except for a tiny sliver on the edge of the lever. Fully restored, both the vintage pen and pencil work well. Under a bright light you can see some shallow scratches on the caps and barrels. You also can see some marks where the pen's cap rubs against the barrel when it closes. Very minor wear, but it didn't just roll off the assembly line. You will write a smooth extra-fine (or fine, depending on how you define extra-fine) line with its 14k gold nib that screws in and out of the pen. You will notice it is not a "Signature" nib, but it was likely a replacement nib the store that sold it used to customize the nib for the original owner. The pencil takes 1.1mm leads. Its biggest flaw is brassing on the nose cone. Pen measures 13.4cm capped.

$1,750.00Where to start?! Oversized, blue-on-blue lapis...a buttery smooth semi-flex nib! Admit it. You're already salivating over this Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal/Decoband. It is one of the best vintage pens we have posted this year. Fully restored with a new ink sac, the fountain pen has few flaws. The barrel is clearly still blue, but it is three or four shades darker than the cap and pencil. The only brassing is on the ball of the pocket clip. No cracks nor scratches. The writing experience is second to none. It can be a buttery smooth extra-fine, but with just a little gentle pressure it can write a 1mm line. The pencil still works with a 1.1mm lead. It has a little brassing on the nose cone and pocket-clip ball. The lead only advances; you have to push it in to retract it. No eraser. Pen measures 13.55cm capped.

5727 Parker Snakes Filling Mechanism:
Cartridge/ConverterEra:
1980-present Fountain Pen Nib Size:
MPrice:
$999.99The original Parker Snake pen was first introduced in 1906. It was a black hard rubber eyedropper pen with a sterling silver overlay in the design of an emerald-eyed snake. It was a gorgeous pen and very expensive. Few were made and survive. As such, it is among the most sought after pens by vintage pen collectors. Parker rereleased a Snake pen 100 years later in a more modern cartridge/converter format. This is one of those modern luxury pens that is still new in the box...never used. It comes with all of its original boxes and papers. Perfect for display or even use, if you desire. The website can't figure out the shipping on such a large box and might cost extra...especially for international destinations. Please e-mail for details.

$5,999.99We're all here in a steampunk submarine. A steampunk submarine. A steampunk submarine. Welcome to the most fanciful luxury pen we have ever seen: the Jean Pierre LePine Graphyscaf (The Ocean)! Designed to look like a steel-and-brass submarine from a time when Jules Verne wrote about them, this is an intense fountain pen that is NEW OLD STOCK. Never used, it remains a museum-worthy piece of functional art. Our favorite detail about the pen itself is the ink reservoir portal which features a whimsical underseas scene. Its display is a portal like window box of steel and brass, which you can fill with the included sand and seashells! The entire arrangement is packed in a wooden crate to keep it safe. Our preowned luxury pencil is in great working order with a new eraser and spare .5mm leads. You'll see some scratches on the brushed gold cap and nose cone. Twist the cap to advance the lead or close up/retract the lead mechanism. Makes math, crosswords and sudoku more fun. 13.8cm.
