Pre-Owned Pens: 3035: Pelikan: Souverän 800
In our esteem, Pelikan holds the highest honor for great luxury pens for daily use. You will love this preowned Pelikan 800 Souverän rollerball pen. Large, distinctive and reasonably lightweight, it will give you writing pleasure all day while turning heads in any office or closing. It has light wear from use, but nothing that really stands out. On top of the cap is a golden logo that includes a mama and two chicks. The tail cap features a blank golden disc. Unscrew the tail cap to reveal the refill. We just installed a brand new Pelikan rollerball refill. 13.9cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 3034 Parker 51
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1940-1949
Price: $149.99
Vintage Pens: 3034: Parker: 51
Double-jewel Parker 51s seem to get more and more difficult to find at affordable prices, but we have a classic black one with a sterling silver cap ready for you. Hailing from 1942, this vintage pen classic has been fully restored with a new diaphragm. The hood has some scratches visible in the photo. Click the headline for a better view. The blind cap is only slightly off its alignment. The silver cap is especially nice. In spite of some wear spots, there are no dents. The blue diamond on the clip indicates it had a lifetime warranty for the life of its original owner. The original 14k gold nib looks a little wonky under a loupe, but it writes a very nice fine-medium line. No cracks. A great daily writer. 13.6cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3033 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 3033: Parker: Duofold
We can't get enough of the modern Parker Duofolds with a pearlescent cap and body threaded by a black vein. This is an early version of the rollerball Duofold. The flat-top cap button has a spiralgraph design. Some of the blacking is out of the design. The pen only has light wear, but the cap and barrel show a little yellowing to the finish. No cracks. There's a ring of rubbing wear around the raised center of the main cap ring. We gave the pen a new Parker rollerball refill. 13.1cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 3032 Waterman 94
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $149.99
Vintage Pens: 3032: Waterman: 94
The 1930s saw the rise of beautiful marbled grey designs with red flecks. This Waterman 94 is a full-size fountain pen (not oversized) and an excellent sample of Depression-era pens. No cracks and only light wear with a few little marks and scratches here and there, the vintage pen has been fully restored with a new ink sac. The imprint on the barrel and tail are very strong. The original 14k gold Waterman #4 nib writes a smooth extra-fine line with a little flex. Not a wet noodle, just a pleasant semi-flex. Click the headline for a close-up of the nib. 12.3cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3031 Omas Milord
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 3031: Omas: Milord
Enjoy an Omas pen that really stands out with this coral colored Omas Milord. At least we think it is a Milord. It is 12-sided and much smaller than a Paragon. It seems a bit smaller than other Milords we've had in the past, but Omas has a lot of size variation in both its Milords and Paragons. Either way, it is still a great looking pen with light surface wear from use. There's a little brassing on the cap bands, but the rest is pretty good. The best part about this rollerball pen is that it uses still readily available short capless rollerball refills! We just gave it a fresh new one. 13.5cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 3030 Wahl-Eversharp Skyline
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1940-1949
Price: $75.00
SOLD!
Vintage Pens: 3030: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline
Green and gold make for a handsome combo on this standard size (not executive) Eversharp Skyline. Featuring great aerodynamic styling, we found this pen already fully restored with a fresh ink sac. It does not appear to have a breather tube in it, but it fills well. The 14k gold-filled cap is dent free, but the green plastic dome has some scratches. There also is some brassing in the top cap band. The British racing green barrel has some wear and scratches but is sound and crack free. The original 14k gold nib writes a needle-fine line with some flex. Slightly more flex than a semi-flex nib, this nib will need a lot of training to flow and work the way you might want. It is a little finicky, but you can get it rockin' with practice and a little work. 13.3cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3029 Namiki Pilot Vanishing Point
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $349.99
SOLD!
Pre-Owned Pens: 3029: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point
Complete with its original boxes and papers is a limited edition Pilot Vanishing Point "Icicle Blue." Used only once or twice, it is in near perfect original condition. No blemishes. The converter is already loaded into the pen. However, the ink cartridge sleeve protector is under the pad of the wooden blue box. It features a 14k white gold nib marked medium, but, as a Japanese pen, we know it is finer than that. Perfect working order. 14cm.
Vintage Pens: 3028 Wahl-Eversharp Skyline
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1940-1949
Price: $49.99
Vintage Pens: 3028: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline
Bullet-headed and aerodynamically tapered, the Eversharp Skyline fountain pen was an art deco triumph. Designed to also be cutting edge technology, it featured a breather tube inside it to supposedly equalize air pressure on flights so your pen didn't make a mess. Can't say that the system prevented many leaks in flight, but they get an A for effort. It's still a sharp lookin' vintage pen. This one has been fully restored with a new ink sac and its original breather tube. No cracks, some light wear and a little brassing. The original 14k gold nib writes an extra-fine/fine line with a little feedback, but it isn't too distracting. 12.2cm capped.
