$199.99Fans of Sailor pens know that ZOOM nibs are a special treat, and we are happy to report that this standard-size Sailor 1911 has a Zoom nib! For the uninitiated, the Zoom nib is a 14k gold broad nib. In the world of Japanese nibs, it might be considered a double or triple broad. For American and European nib enthusiasts, we dipped it and it looks mostly like a regular broad nib. Regardless, aside from a scuff on the pocket clip, this pen looks like new. It also comes complete with its original boxes and converter. 13.6cm capped.

$199.99Japanese excellence in manufacturing and design are front and center with the Sailor ProGear in this smokey, deep emerald green luxury pen. Complete with its original boxes, papers and converter, we aren't convinced it has been used for more than a dip. Pristine! Click the headline for close-ups. Marked "H-MF" on its 14k gold nib, we love what we would let those initials mean. However, Sailor means "Hard Medium-Fine." We agree it is a rigid nib after a dip, but it looks more like a wet extra-fine to fine to us. 12.4cm capped.

$175.00Black-flecked amber makes for a really handsome, almost demonstrator-like, Sailor Magellan fountain pen. We keep looking through it hoping to find a mosquito with lost dinosaur DNA to start a theme park. Click the headline for a close-up. The only real wear or damage to the pen is around the golden ring where the nib fits into the section. Otherwise, the pen looks great with only some light surface wear. In a rarity for Sailor nibs, this 14k gold beauty is marked H-F, for hard fine. BUT, it writes like a rigid medium. Usually Japanese nibs skew finer not fatter. We found a converter that fits it, but it isn't the original converter. 13.9cm capped.

$149.99Quite possibly the best daily driver fountain pens out of Japan, the Sailor 1911 is a must have for most all fountain pen enthusiasts. Also extremely popular are the demonstrator model. This green Sailor 1911 demonstrator looks about as close to new as a pre-owned pen can look. Best of all, it comes with its original boxes and a leather carrying pouch! Click the headline to see the close-up of the nib. It is marked H-M. This means it is a "hard" (firm) medium writer. It is a Japanese medium, which means it is closer to a European or American fine. We also find it to be a dry writer that sounds and feels a little scratchy as it writes. 13.5cm capped.
