Do you think this is the rainbow connection Kermit was singing about? Normally we polish our pens and pencils, but this rainbow patina is really impressive, especially in real life. Coin collectors go out of their way to find coins with this type of look. The whole vintage pencil is really amazing. New Old Stock with its original sticker! Pull back the top of the pencil and unscrew the top element to reveal spare 1.1mm leads. The lead-advance mechanism is a little stiff, but it still pushes the lead out. No dents, engravings or scratches. 13.4cm.

Era: 1940-1949
Price: $49.99
Pencil: 5026: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline 176 PB
Click-advance lead systems were brand new when Eversharp released its Eversharp 176-PB pencil. It might also be considered an Eversharp Skyline pencil. This vintage pencil is new-old-stock. You can see its original price tag/sticker ring in the photo. There is a little ink staining on the ring, but you can read most of the ring, including its 1940s' price of $3.75. We like that it is blue and that you can see how they used a different plastic for the nose cone. No brassing mars the gold-plated trim, but you can see plenty of wear marks on the pencil. Remove the tail clicker to find a hardened eraser and spare 1,1mm leads. 11.6cm.

Pencil: 5003 Wahl-Eversharp Doric
Filling Mechanism: Pencil
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $125.00
Pencil: 5003: Wahl-Eversharp: Doric
One of the most iconic art deco writing instruments of the 1930s is the Wahl-Eversharp Doric. Sadly, the gorgeous celluloid used by Eversharp has an unfortunate tendency to kraze (crackle into hundreds of little pieces). Luckily, this Eversharp Doric is in incredibly good condition. NO KRAZING! Its "Kashmir" green marble design is stunning. Its gold-plated trim is about 95% perfect, only hints of brassing on corners and edges. The double-checked gold seal under the clip means this vintage pencil came with a lifetime warranty for the life of its original owner. At writing distance, you can't see any wear, but a close inspection shows little marks and micro blemishes. Twist the tail cap to extend and retract the 1.1mm lead. Under the tail cap is a hardened eraser and spare leads. 13.1cm.
