Vintage Pens: 6525: Parker: 51
Vintage pens are the heroes of communication from yesteryear to today. Our Parker 51 is pretty heavily worn and scratched, but it is still in great working order. A proven work horse, it still makes for a great daily writer more than 70 years after its birth. The pli-glass ink sac still works well. You will write a nice fine to fine-medium line with its 14k gold nib. 13.6cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6524 Sheaffer Prelude
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6524: Sheaffer: Prelude
Sheaffer Preludes remain a popular modern Sheaffer. This one shows a bit of wear, but it is still in good working order. It comes with its original box and papers. Also included is its original aerometric-style, squeeze-bar converter. The nice thing about it is that modern Sheaffer cartridges and converters still fit. You will write a nice fine line with a little feedback. It is a steel nib that is marked medium, but we tested it and feel it is more of a fine. The lining of the box has come unglued, as you can see the photo. 13.3cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6523 Sailor 1911
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: Stub
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6523: Sailor: 1911
Sailor seems to be one of the few modern fountain pen brands to be actively promoting its alternative nibs. This Sailor 1911 comes with a delightful 14k gold "MS" nib. That stands for "music nib" It is a juicy writer that has some line variation. It is smooth, too. Minimal wear can be seen on this yellow-and-black beauty. Sailor makes 1911s in multiple sizes. This is one of the smaller sizes, but we aren't sure which one. Please note the measurement below. Included with the pen is its proprietary converter. 13.5cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 6522 Parker 41
Filling Mechanism: Aerometric Filler
Era: 1950-1959   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $125.00
Vintage Pens: 6522: Parker: 41
Here's our first-ever in-the-box Parker 41 set with both the fountain pen and "Liquid Lead" pencil! We thought it was a 51 set, at first. Then we read the imprint on the sac protector. The set is in great shape with only light wear from use. The ink sac remains in excellent working order. You will write a fine line with a little feedback and drag using its steel nib. The pencil still seems to have a little liquid lead in it! This is incredibly cool, considering Parker abandoned making those refills in the 1950s or early '60s. Box included.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6520 Namiki Pilot Vanishing Point
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $349.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6520: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point
Enjoy the 2006 limited edition Pilot Vanishing Point fountain pen in dazzling "Ice Blue." This preowned luxury pen comes complete with its original boxes and papers. It even has its cartridge cap, in case you want to stop using its working converter and switch over to proprietary Pilot cartridges. A close inspection will show light traces of wear in the ice blue, but no one sitting near you will ever see it. The rhodium trim is a little more scuffed around the nib zone. Marked "F" for a fine point, this 18k gold nib really writes an extra-fine line with a little feedback. Its clam-shell presentation box is fine, but there is some deterioration on the cross strap of the pad upon which the pen rests. 14cm.

Italian racing red and handsome sterling silver trim make for a great tribute to a classic Italian car company. Our Delta Alfa Romero fountain pen is quite the site to behold. Our preowned luxury pen has very little wear from use, though you can see the top of the nib is scuffed a little when you click the headline for close-ups. Complete with its boxes, papers and converter. You will write a nice, smooth, juicy broad line with its 18k gold nib. Unfortunately, the writing experience is plagued by many hard starts that we don't know how to fix. Pretty much every word has a hard start. Be warned. 13.6cm capped.
