Pre-Owned Pens with Nib Size: M

It is fun to see a resurrected brand try to resurrect another brand. Our modern Esterbrook Accutron pays tribute to the classic watch called the Bulova Accutron. It was an early battery-powered watch. Critical to its operation was a little tuning fork, which serves as a logo to Bulova...and this fountain pen...to this day. You can see it on both the box and the nib. Our preowned pen is in like-new condition with minimal if any wear. Ours comes with its original box and papers. We gave it a replacement standard international converter. You will write a nice medium line with its golden or gold-plated steel nib. 15cm capped.

Sahara models of the Graf von Faber-Castell line really stand out for their color and design. The barrels are plastic with a barley design and texture. The ends are likely rhodium-plated. The writing experience is everything you expect from this German luxury brand. You will write a fine-medium line with its 18k gold nib. The fountain pen looks to be in excellent condition. Just some light wear from use, and it includes its converter. The rollerball pen is a little more worse for wear with brassing/pitting in the back of the top of the cap and nose cone. Black with platinum-plated trim...or is it rhodium plating...always looks sharp on a luxury pen. Our preowned luxury pen is a Pelikan Ductus. These handsome beauties were only made for a short while. For Pelikan aficionados it is an 800-size pen. Click the headline for a close-up of the unique design of its 18k gold nib. It is marked "B" for broad, but when we tested it, we thought it felt more like a buttery smooth medium with a little line variation. Also unique to this pen is that it is cartridge only. Unscrew the blind cap in the tail to reveal a cartridge carriage that hold two standard international size cartridges...no converters. The cap logo is a frosted, silvery mama pelican with one chick. 14.3cm capped.

Sheaffer Preludes remain a popular modern Sheaffer. This one shows a bit of wear, but it is still in good working order. It comes with its original box and papers. Also included is its original aerometric-style, squeeze-bar converter. The nice thing about it is that modern Sheaffer cartridges and converters still fit. You will write a nice fine line with a little feedback. It is a steel nib that is marked medium, but we tested it and feel it is more of a fine. The lining of the box has come unglued, as you can see the photo. 13.3cm capped.

Fit enough for pharaoh, this limited edition Cross Townsend Lapis Lazuli uses the same lapis quarry as the ancient Egyptians! We love these gold-flecked beauties. Showing minimal wear to the cap and barrel, you will find this preowned luxury pen to be stunning. Click the headline for a close-up. The modern Waterman pen company began to find its groove again in the 1980s and '90s. Sales began to return from oblivion with pens such as this Waterman Laureat. Our attractive blue-marble preowned pen shows a little wear from use, but it is in pretty good cosmetic shape. Only the steel nib shows any obvious wear, as its gold plating is coming off in places. Here's a little something you don't see every day. It is a modern Ranga Bamboo pen from India that someone modified with a vintage 14k gold Weidlich nib from Cincinnati, Ohio! We find it writes a medium line with a little scratchiness. The preowned pen is shaped like bamboo and made of black hard rubber. It comes with a standard international converter. Have you ever seen close-up photos of the roiling flames on the surface of the sun? That is what the barrels of these amazing Delta Dolcevita Millennium fountain pens look like to us. It contrasts gorgeously with the black cap and tail piece. Gold accents help, and the silver laurels around the center of the big cap ring is the icing on the cake. It might not be the longest oversized pen, but it is very girthy. Our pen includes a standard international converter and booklet.
