It came as a surprise to us to learn that there is a huge difference between the original Rotring 600 fountain pens, such as this one, and the poorly made modern ones. These original ones were very well constructed. There are no cracks or problems with the metal. The cap snaps tightly, and the worst you can say about this pen is that it has a little wear from use. It comes with standard international converter. You will write a firm, dry extra-fine line with its steel nib. There's a little feedback, but not much. The modern Waterman pen company began to find its groove again in the 1980s and '90s. Sales began to return from oblivion with pens such as this Waterman Laureat. Our attractive blue-marble preowned pen shows a little wear from use, but it is in pretty good cosmetic shape. Only the steel nib shows any obvious wear, as its gold plating is coming off in places. Handmade in India, this mottled yellow ebonite fountain pen by Ranga is a handsome retro modern writer. Officially it is the Ranga Model 3. It is large at nearly 6-inches long and rather girthy. Looks nearly new. Minimal if any wear. Click the headline for close-ups. Even though the two-tone steel nib is marked F for fine, it seems more like an extra-fine to us. It comes with a Ranga box, too. However, we aren't sure if this is the original box to this pen. 15.1cm capped.

Pale-green hard rubber forms the impressive Ranga Bamboo pen from India. This large fountain pen includes all of its original parts and only shows minimal wear from use. You fill the pen with its standard international converter or like cartridges. Our pen includes its original steel JoWo nib. You will write a very nice, smooth broad line. Here's a little something you don't see every day. It is a modern Ranga Bamboo pen from India that someone modified with a vintage 14k gold Weidlich nib from Cincinnati, Ohio! We find it writes a medium line with a little scratchiness. The preowned pen is shaped like bamboo and made of black hard rubber. It comes with a standard international converter. Ranga hard rubber pens have taken the collecting community by storm. We love this blue Ranga 4CS fountain pen's look. In like-new condition, it has minimal wear. We fitted it out with a converter. It comes with a box that shows more wear than the pen. You will write a fairly smooth fine line with its steel Bock nib. 14.9cm capped.

Have you ever seen close-up photos of the roiling flames on the surface of the sun? That is what the barrels of these amazing Delta Dolcevita Millennium fountain pens look like to us. It contrasts gorgeously with the black cap and tail piece. Gold accents help, and the silver laurels around the center of the big cap ring is the icing on the cake. It might not be the longest oversized pen, but it is very girthy. Our pen includes a standard international converter and booklet.
