Pre-Owned Pens: Sailor 1911

Connoisseurs of fine-writing instruments find themselves drawn to the impeccable stylings and operations of Sailor 1911 fountain pens. As far as preowned luxury pens go, they are nearly perfect performers. Our Sailor 1911 is the “Large” model at 14.2cm long when capped. It has only light wear from use. Sporting a 21k gold nib, it writes a smooth, dry extra-fine line to us. However, it is marked H-M for “Hard Medium.” Japanese nibs run finer than American and European nibs. Nevertheless, we aren’t sure how they get anywhere close to medium with this nib. Includes a proprietary Sailor converter. Also takes like cartridges.
