Description
Waterman pens of the 1940s can be difficult to identify, as they made many pens with very similar designs. We think this is the Waterman Emblem. It has the same design language as others we’ve seen, only there is no cap imprint and the nib doesn’t say “Emblem.” Only a crazy person wouldn’t fall madly in love with its smooth 14k gold #7 nib that flexes from fine to roughly 1.5mm wide! It isn’t a wet noodle, but it is fun. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. The cap and barrel have plenty of light scratches and a couple dents in the cap band. No cracks! A little brassing on the cap band. Clip still tight. Even if we are wrong about it being a Waterman Emblem, we aren’t wrong about the writing experience. 😉 13.1cm capped.
