Description

Fountain  pens are great until you need to travel. It is difficult keeping enough ink with you. That is where the Visconti Traveling Inkpot comes in really handy. Designed initially for Visconti Power-Filler pens, it really works with many other pens. Just fill the Visconti Traveling Inkpot up to the maximum fill line. Inside the traveling inkpot is a rubber stopper that has a V-like shape to allow for a seal to fill many other sized pens. It won’t work with many narrow gauge “small” pens. However most mid-size to oversized pens ought to fit. This appears to be in like-new condition, without ever having seen ink. You get its original boxes and PAPERS. This includes a bit of the order history of the inkpot, as it features its year 2000 catalog page sales copy. The barley-finished metal ends are made of sterling silver, according to the scrap of catalog. Purchased on November 30, 2000. Seems a shame that its one owner never used it in 25 years. Just be warned that its accompanying eyedropper  has dried out and doesn’t work.
