How do you top the splendor or a Montblanc Classique fountain pen? Make it out of solid sterling silver. Our Montblanc Solitaire is a great luxury pen made back in West Germany! That ought to give you a clue about its age. Our preowned luxury pen saw some use, but it remains in pretty good condition. There is a dimple near the tail and under the pocket clip. There are a couple shallow impressions that don’t count as true dents…just barely distinguishable impressions. No significant scratches–just light surface wear on the cartouche. Check out the gallery photos to see some corrosion on the ring nearest the nib. This Montblanc Solitaire comes with a converter. You will write a nice fine line with its two-tone 18k gold nib.
