The Pelikan P40 Pura is the ultimate travel pen that is nearly indestructible. Yet, it still has a very attractive blue-and-polished-steel finish. Best of all, its steel nib writes a smooth medium line that sings a little. Some people ask what we mean by “it sings a little.” It is a smooth writing nib that makes a little noise as you write…kinda like how they put sound effects on fountain pens in the movies. These pens were sold as cartridge-only pens, and it takes full-length standard international cartridges, which do hold a lot of ink. Our Pelikan P40 Pura has a little light wear from use but no cracks, no dents and no deep scratches. 13.7cm capped.
