We love the accent trim of the cap band. No cracks. Some light wear and brassing from use. Wear faded the cap imprint, but you can still read it. The tail cap reads 042. You will write a smooth fine line with its 14k gold nib. It is not bouncy. Nor is it conventionally flexible. However, if you are very slow and gentle, it can produce a little give for some line variation. But it feels to us as if it would prefer remaining a smooth fine. It really is a lovely pen. 12.7cm capped.
