Vintage Pens: Parker Challenger

Sometimes its the beat-up oldies that still write the best. We love the way this Parker Challenger writes a smooth fine line with its 14k gold Vacumatic replacement nib! We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. There are no cracks in the cap or barrel. However, you will find heavy brassing on the clip and cap bands. Plenty of wear marks will be found on the entire pen. The weirdest part to us is the name “V. Hiatt” embossed on top of the Parker Challenger imprint. This makes both the name and the imprint difficult to read. Fills with an simple button filler. Yet, the blind cap is missing its trim ring. Did we mention this Parker Challenger is a great vintage writer. 12.6cm capped.
