Vintage Pens: Parker Vacumatic

Turning 80 years old this year was a “major” milestone for this Parker Vacumatic Major fountain pen. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. The nice, crisp imprint shows a first-quarter 1946 date code. Notice the blue diamond on top of the clip? That meant this pen was guaranteed for the life of its original owner. No cracks and some light wear. Seeing though the discolored celluloid barrel is still possible. No engravings. However, there is a stain around the barrel near where the lip of the cap rests when closed. You will write a nice, wet fine line with its 14k gold nib. It has a light-scratch feedback 12.7cm capped.
