Vintage Pens: Sheaffer 2A

Description

Surviving more than a century, and looking fantastic in the process, is this chased black hard-rubber Sheaffer 2A. We found it in this condition and simply gave it a new ink sac. It has a little wear from use but no cracks or deep scratches. The imprints and chasing get a little shallow in places but are still clearly visible. Our Sheaffer 2A is simply an incredible early Sheaffer fountain pen. You will find the nib has some very nice flexibility from extra-fine to about 1mm wide. It is a bit scratchy, too, as flex nibs can be. Slender and 13.9cm capped.
