Vintage Pens: Sheaffer Imperial Desk Set

Dolphin nibs are desirable on the Sheaffer Imperial Desk Set fountain pens. These are the rarest of the Imperial nibs. They aren’t any better or worse at performing…just unusual looking. Both the fountain pen and ballpoint pen are still stickered and seemingly unused. The fountain pen takes Sheaffer cartridges and most likely converters. We aren’t sure if the ballpoint takes modern Sheaffer ballpoint refills. It was likely made right around the time of the Sheaffer ballpoint refill conversion. Both pens show a bit of shop wear but no significant damage. We did not dip the fountain pen, given its likely NOS status. The nib looks like it will be a juicy medium. It feels smooth when pretending to write with it dry. Sheaffer Imperial Desk Set base not included.
