Vintage Pens: Parker Vacumatic

Bordering on perfection, our Parker Vacumatic has a remarkably clear barrel right up until it starts to amber near the diaphragm. We restored this vintage pen with a new diaphragm, just in case you want to use it. Most of the see-through celluloid is that lovely clear yellow-green. The blind cap is just a shade off from the perfect alignment of the barrel. No cracks. A little brassing around the edges of cap band. Crisp imprints. We have trouble reading the date code, but we think it is 1945. The enamel blue diamond in the clip was a sign this pen originally came with a lifetime warranty. Minimal wear. You will write a dryish extra-fine line with its firm 14k gold nib. It does have a little feedback, as most extra fines do. 13.3cm capped.
