Vintage Pens: Parker Vacumatic

Parker Vacumatics remain among our very favorite vintage pens. We love the filling system that fills the whole barrel with ink, and we love the art deco design! We restored this Parker Vacumatic with a new diaphragm. There are no cracks and minimal wear from use. It does have some dark, ambering of the barrel. You can barely see into it. Read the crisp barrel imprint to see it was made in the fourth quarter of 1946. We wonder if someone got it as a gift for Christmas or Hanukkah. You will write a fairly smooth fine line that sings a little with this 14k gold nib. For American nib fans it is a fine. For Japanese nib fans it is a medium. A grey pearl beauty. 12.7cm capped.
