Striking is the best way to describe the well-preserved blue design on this Conklin Endura fountain pen. The mixed blue swirls look like a night sky painted by Vincent Van Gogh. The only trace of discoloration comes near the barrel threads. The remainder looks about as close to perfect as you will find. Even the gold plating is co-operating! No brassing on the clip or cap band! Just a little brassing on the lever filler. To help preserve the color of the pen, its previous owner had it sac’d with a pvc or silicone sac of some kind. It remains in good working order. No cracks on this Conklin Endura. Just some light wear from us and a shallow imprint on the barrel. You will write a smooth, wet fine line with its 14k gold nib. 13.2cm capped.
