Vintage Pens: Eagle Mottled Slim

We love the Halloween red-orange and black design of what we are calling the Eagle Mottled Slim fountain pen. It is a nice, slender flattop Eagle design from the 1920s. There are no cracks; nor are there any deep scratches. Cosmetically, there is only light wear from use. We strongly suspect a past repairman likely replaced the lever. Most of the Eagle pens we’ve seen from this era seem to have a disc-shaped piece to lift the lever up by. We restored this pen with a new ink sac. We love the pencil logo embossed on the pocket clip of our Eagle Mottled Slim. You will write a wet, fine line with a little feedback, but you can also gently flex this little nib to about 1mm wide. 13.1cm capped.
